World Missions Weekend 2010

The Missions Board would like to thank all who were able to participate in the events of this weekend. We had a great time getting to know these three couples, trying new foods, and learning about cultures around the world. Please keep these missionaries in your prayers as they return to their work in the field.

Missed the Worshp Service this weekend? Listen to the audio of the presentations each couple shared during the Sunday, March 14 Worship Service.

“Mom, I want to be a missionary!”

Can you imagine one of the young people in your life saying this? During the weekend of March 12 FBC hosted three young couples who have accepted the call to serve in the mission field:

Craig and Megan Beatty: This couple teaches at The Greater Lisbon Christian Academy, an ABWE run School that educates missionary children. On Facebook? Visit their group. (Portugal, ABWE)

Jared and Melanie Currie: Along with their one year son, this young family plans to leave for Indonesia in April. Check out their blog for photos and stories. (Indonesia, New Tribes Mission)

Stephen and Caryl Nemec: Raised in FBC, this couple now uses their gifts in a variety of ways through a unique missions organization. (Belize, Mexico, and Bernville PA, Christian Missionary Technical Services)
