Tween Game Night
All fourth, fifth and sixth graders are invited to participate in monthly Tween Game Nights. We meet for fun, fellowship and Bible study. For details on our next meeting contact tweens@fbcpburg.org.
Youth Group
Our primary goal is to provide a caring environment where teens are taught God’s Word in a way that is relevant to today’s youth culture. We seek to provide an atmosphere where trust is encouraged and nurtured. We desire for our teens to feel welcome and safe enough to share their struggles and victories! We are busy group with lots of weekly and monthly activities from retreats in the Fall and Winter, to camps in the Summer, to an all night activity in the Spring. We meet every week on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30 for worship, Bible Study, food, and fun. All teens from grades 7 through 12 are invited. For more information contact youth@fbcpburg.org.
Ladies' Missionary Fellowship
This group meets monthly to roll bandages for a leper colony and make bibs for local nursing homes. They alsosupply coffee and baked goods for military evangelism, as well as provide support to missionaries in the field.
Hooked on Prayer
This group meets monthly to crochet or knit blankets to celebrate milestones in the lives of our youth and church family. We also provide blankets to support ministry outreaches by our church. Women's Retreat
Each fall our ladies travel to Traber Center in Spring City, PA for a weekend retreat. In addition to spiritually challenging sessions with a guest conference speaker, we are blessed with peaceful surroundings at the top of the mountain, cozy warmth near the fireplace in the lounge, great food prepared by Chef Mark, interesting and enjoyable activities, and wonderful fellowship.
Men's Prayer
The men of First Baptist meet at 8:00 a.m. for a time of prayer and sharing with each other.
