I am Jim Ferguson and an elder of First Baptist Church. My wife Terry and I have been attending FBC since 2002. We have three married daughters and 10 grandchildren. I have worked for the MTA Bridges and Tunnels in NYC for 25 years, and look forward to possibly retiring in the near future. I enjoy carpentry and love building projects, I am an avid NY Mets and NY Giants fan, and I also enjoy fishing. I have served on the deacon board since 2004, and am currently the chairperson. My wife Terry serves as the board secretary. I also serve with the bridge ministry and enjoy building relationships and sharing Christ with those local residents who are in need of Jesus. I am passionate about discipling other men, learning from God’s Word together, and growing in Christ. I am looking forward to career retirement and seeing what God has in store for the next chapter of my life.
