Doug Mace

Hello, my name is Doug Mace and I am one of the older guys at First Baptist.  My wife and I have been here since August of 1971.  Interestingly, even though the pastor at that time was on a 4 week vacation when we first visited, the people were so warm and friendly that we never went anywhere else. When we welcome new members I find that is still one of the main reasons people stay. We have had the opportunity to serve in many ministries over the years.  My wife Mary is involved as a pianist and in discipling young and older women.  I have had the opportunity to serve in many positions over the years, but probably my most rewarding position is teaching and discipling our people.
